Discovering my strengths took time. But once I let go of fear, I realized that there is no limit to what I could accomplish in my life. After embracing my ability to excel and apply action to what I learned along the way, my goal as a Mentor and Personal Life Coach is to enable you to do the same. My passion is to help you find the confidence to try, and the personal strength to succeed.

I was born and raised in a small town in Alabama where I was presented with many challenges. I currently hold a B.S. in Management Information Systems, University of Alabama. However, from kindergarten to high school, I was always the minority. On many occasions, I was the only African American male student in my class, which was intimidating, but I quickly learned to embrace who I was and the opportunities that were in front of me. This inner strength that I held onto formed the basis of what I want to do for every person I get the opportunity to mentor, especially in the area of leadership. I want others to have confidence in who God made them to be and the purpose He’s given each of us in this world.

I’m from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I love to write and blog. My greatest passion is mentoring youth! In my free time, I like to sing, write music, photography, serve others, watching documentaries, researching and anything science. My favorite foods are: shrimp alfredo, buffalo wings, and cupcakes. I’m an introvert, but I love people and love laughing. The areas of mentorship that interest me are: identity, finding the leader within, self-love, transparency, standing in your truth, reaching your potential and gracing yourself. I’ve chosen to be a mentor because I want each mentee to experience what it feels like to have someone in your corner and having someone show up for you consistently.

I choose to serve as a mentor because I want to assist someone in changing the trajectory of their life and I want to challenge every obstacle. I work as an IT professional by trade, however, when it comes to mentorship, I focus on the areas of hurt, rejection, drug/alcohol abuse, depression, bullying, peer pressure, low self-esteem, behavior issues, being in a gang, loneliness, grief, anxiety, mother and father wounds. Family is very important to me and I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. I love to travel and learn about different cultures as well as trying their native cuisines. Most importantly, I am a man who follows Christ and loves to serve. My heart is to impact the lives of young men and men alike for the kingdom of God.

I love helping others see the best version of themselves. I love uplifting ad providing sound advice as well as encouraging others to see the positive instead of the negative in their lives. I’m willing to learn and receive feedback as well. I enjoy working with challenging populations as well as not so challenging. I enjoy working both, children and adults. In my opinion, everyone deserves a fair chance. I hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology, and a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. I focus on the following areas of mentorship: conflict resolution, positive thinking, coping in positive ways in touch situations, confidence/self-esteem, juvenile justice, low socioeconomic backgrounds, CPS, mental health, spiritual needs and family systems. My motivation for being a mentor centers around my aspiration to gain a sense of hope in that I’ve helped someone else become a better person.
